My first series of mixed media drawings of people drinking. I came across these beauties on Pinterest as I was scavenging for things to draw using my (then) new art approach. I’m using my take on the blind contour drawing technique-sketching from photos without looking at my hand. Unlike formal blind contour drawing, I lift my pen/marker as I sketch and do a small amount of touching up before I move on to transferring the sketch to paper, usually with a carbon tracing sheet, then coloring it to be scanned.
